Terms of Service
Last updated: 08-Aug-2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hanux HRM, a workforce management platform provided by Hanux Technologies ("Hanux HRM", "we", "us", or "our") — available via our website and Android app. By creating an account or using Hanux HRM, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so, and "you" refers to that company as well.
2. Description of Service
Hanux HRM provides tools for attendance tracking (including optional face verification and geofenced punch-in), leave management, payroll calculation, employee records and documents, reimbursements, performance tracking, and related HR operations for businesses and their employees.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
To use Hanux HRM, a business must register for an account and provide accurate company and contact information. The person registering the account is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.
Company Admins/HR are responsible for the accuracy of the employee records they create or invite, and for having any consent or authorization needed under applicable law before entering an employee's personal or biometric information into the platform — including for optional features like face verification and location-based attendance.
4. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing
Hanux HRM is offered on a subscription basis. New accounts may start with a free trial period, as shown at sign-up. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and the applicable plan fee will be charged to your payment method on file.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account's billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Hanux HRM for any unlawful purpose, or to violate any applicable labour, data protection, or other law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another company's account or data.
- Upload malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or overload the platform.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the platform without our written permission.
- Use employee data collected through the platform (including biometric or location data) for any purpose other than legitimate HR/attendance management.
6. Your Data & Our Data
You (the Customer) retain ownership of the data you and your employees enter into Hanux HRM — employee records, attendance, payroll figures, documents, and similar content. We process this data on your behalf to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We own the Hanux HRM platform itself — its software, design, and branding — and nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.
7. Termination
You may stop using Hanux HRM and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or has significantly overdue payment, after reasonable notice where practical. On termination, your right to access the platform ends; data handling after account closure is governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
Hanux HRM is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep the platform reliable and accurate — including payroll and statutory calculations — we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every specific regulatory requirement in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for reviewing outputs (like payroll runs) before relying on them for compliance purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hanux Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to Hanux HRM is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify Customers through the platform. Continued use of Hanux HRM after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
